Default dewinterizing 21fbs

Hello everybody. had my new (last year) 21fbs winterized by dealer & from my shabby notes it looks like all i need to do is turn valves back under my microwave & behind the panel just under where the tv sit's then run fresh water through out. im very much a newbie at this. is it that simple(any other trick's?) or should i haul it to dealer for a dewinterization? hope everyone has a great & safe camping season.

While your water heater is in the by-pass. Hook up to city water and run water through each sink ,shower/tub, toilet and outside shower. Then you can change the water heater by-pass and you are good. If you use you fresh water tank it need to be cleaned also.

Did they winterize with anti-freeze or air?

If they winterized with just air turn off the water heater by-pass.

You might consider running a diluted bleach solution through the system. I think it's 1/4 cup of bleach, mixed in with a gallon of water that is added to a mostly full fresh water tank, which is then topped off. Drive around a bit to make sure all the system gets good and coated, then run it through the lines with the water pump. Once you can smell the bleach at all the outlets, drain and refill the fresh water tank, running the refilled water through the outlets using the pump again. You may need to repeat to get rid of the bleach smell, but you'll have a sanitized water system after that.

Are they on the back of your water heater or does one have an open hose on it and the other is inline with the water pump? The one with the open hose should already be closed and the othe should be open or inline with the hose. those are for winterizing the NT.

Yes, open is when the handle is inline with the hose. The hose is were the pink antifreeze is put into the pipe when you winterize. The other is the valve you close to keep the antifreeze out of you fresh water tank when you winterize.

It should look something like this. I hardly ever use my fresh water tank. So I leave mine closed until I need to use the water tank.
