Default Shobert's meet up with the Freeman's

Paul and his family made their way down from New York Friday night/Saturday morning. We had a great weekend at a Jellystone Park in Swansea SC.

The girls had a great time getting acquainted. Paul, Barbara, Makaela and Colleen, we are so glad you made it down. We only wish the visit could have been longer. Hope you enjoyed the tour of the State House grounds and we really enjoyed our dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. Thanks Paul for getting us hooked on that place. It was so good. Had the left over wings for dinner tonight.

We hope the rest of your travels are safe and fun-filled. I look forward to hearing all about them. We do hope to see ya'll again soon. Like we said, if you are traveling south, we have a place for you all and the camper.

Again so nice to finally meet your family in person. Thanks for the good times.

Andy, Jennifer, McKenzie and Payton

Sorry, we just got back this week, haven't had a chance to get all the pictures set up, will do as soon as I can.

Thank you Jennifer and we too had a great time visiting, eventhough it was so hot down there. I don't know how you people live there. Give me a 20 degree day with below zero wind chill and 8 foot snow drifts any day before that 100 deg/100% humid days.
We went to the museum in Columbia the next day and spent the whole day there (inside of course).
From SC we went to Hershey Park, Niagara Falls, and the Poconos.
Taking the trailer to Canada and back was a piece of cake, only three questions each way; where you coming from, where you going, how long you staying - scan the passports, no criminals, have a nice day.
The only additional question on the way back; roll down your back window, who is Colleen? (our 9 year old daughter), you should have seen here raise her hand in fear, it was pretty funny.

Jennifer, any time you guys want to come up North, come to Long Island and we will show you around NYC. You can taste the NY pizza and bagels we never gave you.

Paul

Thanks Paul and Fam for the invite. We just may take you up on the offer in the near future. Glad you all got back safe and sound and no issues getting into and out of Canada.

Happy to hear you enjoyed your trip down south. Yes it's hot but we are used to it. Just as you are used to the cold weather you get up there. Us Southerner's have no idea what to do with one inch of snow on the ground.

Please email the group pic when you have a minute. I can't wait to see it.

A picture as promised. We are a colorful bunch aren't we. This was taken on the side of the State House located in downtown Columbia, SC. We showed the girls the iron stars on the building. The stars mark where Sherman's cannons hit the building. Lot's of history down south. Paul, you and the fam need to hit Charleston and Savannah on another trip. So much history.

Thanks again for making the trip. We had a blast.
